WHITE SANDS BEACH HOTEL
White Sands is an independent redevelopment proposal for an existing beachfront resort in Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands. The project explores how the existing property could be transformed into a contemporary luxury resort while retaining as much of its viable architecture as possible.
The proposal is built around the principle “Preserve the island architecture. Elevate everything around it.” Existing accommodation structures are reimagined as private suites and signature villas, alongside a redesigned arrival experience, restaurant, pool, beach house and new wellness spaces. A restrained material palette of pale mineral finishes, warm timber and natural textures creates a quiet architectural backdrop to the landscape and Caribbean Sea.
The project extends from masterplanning and interior architecture through to furniture, landscape strategy and visual identity. Rather than treating branding as a separate layer, the White Sands identity is integrated into the architecture and guest journey, creating one cohesive experience from arrival to accommodation, dining, wellness and the beachfront.
