“A new retail experience shaped by material, discovery and craft.”
CLOTH HALL RETAIL EXPERIENCE
ClothHall is a speculative retail concept exploring how fashion retail can become a more tactile, material-led experience. Conceived as both a store and working textile archive, the project brings product, material research and discovery into one environment, allowing customers to engage with the fabrics, finishes and construction behind fashion as part of the retail journey.
The interior is organised around a dramatic central nave, where a long display and material table creates the social and visual heart of the store. Double-height textile archive walls extend along the space, accessed by library-style ladders, while repeated merchandising bays, integrated lighting and an upper level establish a clear architectural rhythm. More intimate fitting and lounge spaces provide contrast to the scale of the main retail floor.
Developed through spatial planning, interior architecture, material research, visual merchandising and 3D visualisation, ClothHall proposes a retail environment where material becomes part of the physical experience.
